At approximately 2.45pm Monday, nine men confronted one man whilst he was leaving a Penrith shopping centre say police. A fight broke out, as a number of members of the public tried to intervene, including an unknown male who was physically assaulted.
Yesterday Police raided homes in Freemans Reach, Emu Plains, South Windsor & St Marys.
Police have said that three members of the ‘Rebels’ bikie gang have been arrested at St Marys and Emu Plains, whilst at Freemans Reach a ‘Nomads’ Bikie gang senior member had also been arrested.
During the raids, police confiscated a range of gang related material & clothing, knuckle dusters, prescription drugs as well as anabolic steroids.
A male from Emu Plains, 29, has been charged with affray, participation in a criminal organisation and for being in possession of a prescribed restricted substance. The man was given conditional bail, due to appear in Penrith Local Court on Sept. 17.
A 44 year old senior member of the Nomads has been charged with weapons and drug offences as well as affray. The man was given conditional bail, due to front Windsor Local Court on the 12th of September.
The third man from St Marys & the fourth a New Zealander, 25 and 23 respectively, were both charged with a range of offences including affray and for their participation in a criminal organisation. Both of these men were given conditional bail, due to front Penrith Local Court on the 17th of September.
