A female driver has been arrested in the western Sydney suburb of Parramatta after allegedly driving her car with a blood alcohol level more than six times the legal limit.
The woman, 37, was seen driving her BMW in an erratic manner on the rooftop carpark of a Parramatta shopping centre. Still on her P-plates, she was escorted to Parramatta Police Station where she failed a breath analysis reading, returning 0.305.
Her extremely high blood alcohol limit is six times the legal limit of 0.05 for fully licenced drivers, however Learner and Provisional drivers have to abide by a strict zero alcohol policy.
The woman has been ordered to appear in Parramatta Local Court in early October facing one charge of high-range drink driving. Her licence was confiscated on the spot.
