Ben and Leo volunteer their time as lecturers at the Traffic Offenders Intervention Program, which is now organised by the Attorney General’s Department in conjunction with the various Police Community Youth Clubs in New South Wales. This is a testament to the superior knowledge both partners have in relation to drink driving and all other traffic offences. The firm’s commitment to the community was recognised by the Law and Justice Foundation of New South Wales in 2009 where Benjamin & Leonardo Criminal Defence Lawyers were finalists in the 2009 Justice Awards.

The firm also specialises in serious criminal matters and are currently representing clients charged with murder, attempted murder, serious assaults, sexual assault, kidnapping and large commercial drug matters. The experience and commitment to these types of matters has been recognised by the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales as both Ben and Leo have been appointed to be on the Serious Criminal Law Panel and General Criminal Law Panel.
